So I picked up this giganto sized ham for Easter, and now we have TONS leftover. My husband is happy because he loves ham, but I can only have plain ham for so long. Does anyone have any good recipies for me to use for all this ham? I am also looking for something that uses any type of crescent rolls/pie crust/flaky type thing, since my husband loves that sort of thing (and also because it's usually pretty easy). Thanks!

Ham and bean soup!
1ahh whip you beat me to it!!! split pea, great northern or navy beans tastes best with ham.
2also..chunk some of it up for chef salads, omelets, ooh go to pillsbury.com and there are all kinds of recipes with cresent rolls and the like., chop it real fine and add to ranch dip mix for chips or crackers, tortillas, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, ham for a wrap. hmmmmmmmm so many ideas~
What about a casserole or a quiche or something?
3I was going to say everything that they said LOL!!

Quiche
I think you can freeze it too. But double check on that!
5You could make soup, frittata, sandwiches, or even use it as a topping on Hawaiian pizza. Carbonara pasta is another idea. For recipes to some of the above, check out our section on ham. Hope that helps!
6You guys were awesome! Thanks! I froze some, too. I was planning on making a spinache quiche, but may throw some of the ham in there, too.
7I don't know if you've tried this, but it makes a great snack: Ham, cream cheese, and pickles. You can wrap the pickles in ham slathered with cream cheese place them together on a cracker.
8I'm sure the ham is long gone, but if you froze some you could use bits at a time to flavor any kind of dried bean. Ham is also great with apples and lowfat cheese on whole grain crackers. "Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition" -timothy leary
