Try this delicious appetizer! Just add a little meat to your Bruschetta.

Makes 8 servings

Ingredients:

2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped (about 1 lb.)
1/3 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped basil
3 tbs. olive oil, divided
2 tbs. red wine vinegar
2 tbs. pine nuts, toasted
2 tbs. Montreal steak seasoning
1 tbs. vanilla extract (like Watkins)
1 London Broil (about 2 lbs.)
Directions:

Heat broiler. In bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, chopped basil, 2 tbs. olive oil, vinegar and toasted pine nuts. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
In a seperate bowl, combine remaining oil, steak seasoning and vanilla extract. Using pastry brush, coat both sides of London Broil with oil mixture. Place steak on tray set in broiler pan.
Broil 20 min., or until meat thermometer in meat reads 145F for medium-rare, turning once. Transfer to platter. Top with tomato mixture.
