Ingredients:

8 ounces green beans, ends removed
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cooked brown rice
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:

Bring 16 cups of water seasoned with salt to a boil. When boiling, add green beans. Cook beans about 5 minutes, or until just tender.
Pour into colander and rinse with cold water.
In a large sauté pan, heat butter and olive oil. Add garlic and cook over medium heat about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add cooked rice, beans, salt, and pepper. Toss
well and heat for 1 to 2 minutes, or until beans and rice are both warmed through. Serve immediately.
