My boyfriend is exactly the sort of guy I don't want to end up with. But we've just celebrated our one year anniversary.
When I met my current boyfriend, I'd just had a painful breakup; I'd been with my ex for three years and only ended it when we we couldn't manage the distance between our colleges any more.

Well, my progress hasn't been too great, to be honest. I've been consistent with working out and I have seen some improvement, especially with my running since I've added interval training to my workouts. But I haven't seen much change on the scale, since I continue to struggle with sticking to my diet.

For lasts night's dinner I whipped up a delicious baked fish recipe. Its easy to make and super yummy. What I love most about it, is it's punchy flavors from the diced tomatoes and orange zest infused in the fish.

If you don't know who Brooklyn Decker is, you will soon. Brooklyn landed the coveted Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover this year — she's also married to tennis hottie Andy Roddick. The pics of the 22-year-old fashion model are downright smokin', but looking that good takes some work for the 5-foot-9 svelte beauty, as she shared recently with Us Magazine: "I would be lying if I said genes didn’t have a large part to do with my size and shape, but I have to really work at it."

I have been trying to eat well this new year because I want to get fit (run a half marathon) and slim down. In terms of nutrition, I would say that I am doing an OK job. My breakfasts are generally pretty healthy and for lunch, I usually eat well too. Dinner sometimes isn't as healthy because I am so tired from my work day and from exercise routine, I get lazy. For dinner, I normally just eat something easy and yummy (which for me is cheese and crackers). Not the best source of all my vitamins I know! I need to work on that...
Below is my food journal for today:
Today for breakfast I had a banana, a Nature's Valley granola bar, and a coffee. I feel like this is a pretty good meal for me because it tastes good, gives me energy, but also keeps me full until lunch (which for me is important!).
For lunch, I try to make something from home. Packing a lunch is not only kind to my wallet but it is usually healthier than what I would buy. Yesterday and today I made turkey avocado sandwiches on wheat bread. Turkey is a great, lean protein and avocado is a healthy fat. Also, avocado really satisfies me...and I just love it. In terms of the bread, wheat is better than white, right?
